At Bluefield Regional Medical Center, diagnostic imaging is used to create a graphic depiction of the structures and functions of the body’s organs and other internal systems. These images are used to examine and diagnose certain medical conditions.
The radiology department is located on the second floor of the hospital and services are also provided in operating and emergency rooms when needed. Thanks to our portable equipment, we can perform radiology tests wherever and whenever a patient requires them.
Our facility is staffed around the clock by experienced radiology technologists who provide diagnostic radiology and CT scans 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Radiologic technologists are on call to perform after hours nuclear medicine tests, ultrasounds, c-arm cases and other special procedures in emergency situations.
