We are a tobacco-free facility. Smoking is not permitted inside any building on the BRMC campus.

• Smoking is only permitted in the smoking booths found outside the main Emergency Department entrance and outside the ICCU hallway entrance. Please ask your caregiver for specific directions to these locations.
• If you are a non-ambulatory patient, your physician must write an order for prescription medicine to offset any symptoms of nicotine withdrawal if it does not conflict with the medical care for which you have been admitted.
• Visitors may use tobacco products only in designated shelter buildings on the Medical Center grounds.
